More Weekend Fun and Adventure in St. Augustine!!


This was another weekend adventure that we had in St. Augustine. We went to the Alligator farm, old town St. Augustine, the beach and went on a Eco Tour. The eco tour was amazing. Our guide took us all through the river and out towards the sea. We were able to see dolphins up close and personal. They came right up to the boat and there were even baby dolphins. The kids learned quite a bit about dolphins and the guide even put a microphone under the water so we could here them communicate with each other. It was quite a unique experience. We were also able to enter a nature preserve and see a bald eagle and her nest. The kids were amazed. The eagle nest was really big and it was definitely something we were never before able to see. Among other things, we also saw a spoon billed heron and many hawks. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits or is in the area. A once in a lifetime experience.

After the tour we strolled around St. Augustine and then headed for the beach. It was a very nice weekend and we cant wait to go back:)
