Dyllan
Dyllan had a accident at school yesterday. He fell in the classroom and hit his face on the teachers desk. He hit himself pretty hard and was stunned afterwards. The nurse came down and got him and we went to pick him up. We took one look at him and knew we needed to take him to the ER. He was white as a sheet, shaking and feeling nauseous. On the way to the ER he was very sleepy and wanted to take a nap.
The ER took us in right away and ordered a CAT scan and facial X-Rays. While we waited on those results the doctor came in and stitched his facial laceration. He was such a big boy. He did not even cry one time. During any of it. Not even a ouch while they stitched him up. Amazing. He is such a tough little guy. After the doctor stitched him they came back and gave us the results of his tests. Everything seems to be okay and they did not find any fractures.
We had to keep a close eye on him last night and he seems to be doing perfectly. Just another day in the life of a little boy:) He is now sporting quite the war wound. He has a black eye and his whole cheek is bruised. And right in the middle is the cut with sutures. He cant wait to go back to school on Monday to show all of his friends:)
Thanks to all of you that sent us messages yesterday and kept Dyllan in your thoughts. We appreciate it and so does he.
